Hi All,
I need to create a doc file using Microsoft Word where I can get data from an Oracle DB.

I search on MS Word, for something like ODBC (like in Excel and Access) but in vain.

I need to do this so I can format the data on the doc file in any way I want. Not like in Oracle Reports, where formatting is a little bit restrictive.

Thank you in advance,

Amine

Which has nothing to do with the question.

@Amine
You have to use VBA and ODBC/OO4O/OLE DB to access Oracle from Word document and generate it.
This is more a question to post in a Word or VB forum.

Michel

The page explains how to store a word document into an Oracle database, the question is how to read Oracle data from a Word document to generate it.

And the example has nothing to do with the title.

In addition, the links are quite useless as they are quite difficult to deduce a practical example from them.

But what do you expect from this site?... you can ban it from your search.

Michel
