I have recently been trying to modify an existing form by making some fields not visible (the other option was to deleted them altogether). However when i run the form i get messages:
frm-41017 and frm-41316.
I have altered the properties of these fields :

Enable: No
Insert Allowed: No
Update Allowed: No
Visible : No

This did not work. I have even tried to reverse the properties by saying yes to teh above but it does not work either. Can someone please help.

It seems you are setting INSERT_ALLOWED and/or UPDATE_ALLOWED properties during run time for these non-displayed items.

Try after commenting these lines.
