I m novice to Oracle forms ?

Wanna know the firing sequence of form triggers ?

Which were more oftenly used ?

2) Pre - block
3) Pre-record
4) Pre-item
5) When-new-form-instance
6) When-new-block-instance
7) When-new-record-instance
8 ) When-new-item-instance
9) Post-text_item
10) Post-Record
11) Post-Block
12) Post-Form.

Come on - where are the navigation and window triggers, what about multi-level triggers - form, block, record, then item or item, record, block, then form depending on whether they are 'pre' or 'post'.

Just use the basic ones and ONLY when necessary. Try minimal programming in Forms - it is faster and BETTER.
