I suggest using Oracle 10g R2 XE - it installs more easily than Oracle 9iR2. Then install 9i Reports and Forms, in that order.

There in an installation guide in the documentation. There is also a readme file. Also search this forum for 'forms install'.

I think there is a FAQ as well.

This Is Not About Easy Or Hard ...

it should Match with client requ.

I never installed or worked on forms 10g. someone told me that you should install lower version first(i.e oracle 9i and then form 10g).

can you guide me on this..

Yes ... never install the higher THEN the lower version. Okay, if that is what the client wants then install 9i database, then reports, then forms. The installation guides are in the supplied software. If you intend to uninstall everything and start again with 9iDB then after the uninstall reboot your PC, go into the registry and make sure that the 'hkey_local_machine/software/oracle' entry is empty. If you have to delete the subordinate entries make sure that you power off and power on your PC TWICE. Then check that the registry entry is still empty before installing the 9iDB.
