I am currently working on Oracle 6i Forms.
For all enhancements we need to check out the form after modification it is moved to a test enviornment after that it is moved to production.
These forms are available on the internet.
But we have not done any web work related to web I mean Jave or HTML or anything similiar to that.
How are these forms deployed on Web plus is there any difference in Forms 6i and 6i Web Forms.

To deploy 6i on the web you need to have an Application Server machine. Do you have one of these and which operating system is it running?

Yes we do have an Application Server and the Operating system is both Windows and Unix.
I got this limited information (I don't know it is true or not)
the forms are deployed to an application server and at run time it converts those forms to web based.
My question is how do you deploy them, is that through a script or just copy the fmx.
and when it gets converted to web based who converts them I mean what tool of oracle does that.

The Application Server is either running under Windows or it is running under Linux. Which?
