Hi All,

I am currently use OLEDB in VBE to read some data from ORACLE into an excel query sheet with the following connect string
"OLEDB;Provider=MSDAORA;User ID=x;Password=x;Data Source=x;"
where UserId is a ReadOnly user.

Are the ORACLE Tables/Rows during the select (without "for update") locked ?
