How to fetch the extact query in reports....

USERNAME NOT NULL VARCHAR2(30)
MOBILE# NUMBER(15)
TEL# NUMBER(10)
EXT# NUMBER(6)
EMAIL1 VARCHAR2(50)
EMAIL2 VARCHAR2(50)
DEPT VARCHAR2(20)
EMP_PIC LONG RAW
MOBILE#2 NUMBER(15)
HOME_TEL NUMBER(15)
JOB_TITLE VARCHAR2(30)
LOCATION VARCHAR2(20)

i wanna to fetch the record through ID # in report how to fetch i try to user parameter but it shows all items,
i wanna to fetch the exact record by ID no support if user enter the ID no it will fetch the exact record. how to fetch please help

Yes, you should use a parameter.

If you did that but got all records instead of just one, then you did something wrong. Without knowing the exact query you used and possible additional information (parameter datatype, sample data etc.), it is impossible to guess what is the reason of a failure.
